Hindi flick ‘Dusvidaniya’ telugu rights bought by Usha films and are going to remake it as ‘Chandrudu’. To brief the details of the film producers organized a press meet at Film Chamber of Commerce. It was attended by director Dwarapudi Satyanarayana, hero Krishnudu, producers P S Chandra and Rajkumar.

Director Satyanarayana while speaking, “My first film as director was ‘Pellikani Prasad’. I’m confident of crafting this film in a better manner than that of Hindi.”

“I’ve seen this film in Hindi. I’m very happy to note that the producers are remaking such a wonderful film with me as male lead”, expressed Krishnudu.

Raviteja proved his mettle as a commercial hero yet again with his latest film Don Seenu. This film that was released in the last week has been doing wonders at the box office since its release. Don Seenu collected a whopping 13 crore plus in the first week, said the producers.

This has surpassed the previous hit of Raviteja which was made on the same banner by a big margin in its first week. The film has been getting stupendous response from the family audiences and the producers are expecting the film to do well in the second week too. Gopichand Malineni who made his debut as a director with this film is on cloud nine with the overwhelming response from the audience.

Ram Gopal Varma is making a direct telugu movie after a gap of twelve years is "Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju". Though Ram Gopal Varma is doing a “Rakta Charitra” it has Tamil and Hindi stars and also it is a trilingual movie.

Comedian turned Hero Sunil is playing a lead role in this movie and it is said that this film is going to be complete comedy entertainer. Shooting of this movie is going to start from 27th of this month. Kiran Kumar Koneru is producing this flick under Shreya Productions Banner. The filmmakers are planning to release the movie for Sankranthi. It is learnt that Sunil was so excited to work under Ram Gopal Varma direction.

Director Anurag Basu came up with the strong and powerful subject in ‘Silence’, but the movie has been suffering delay due to the starry issues of the female actresses. Earlier Priyanka Chopra was supposed to play the lead role in the film, but when Asin and Katrina Kaif who were earlier chosen for equally pivotal roles in the film chose to opt out fearing that they would be sidelines with Priyanka playing the plum role, the project’s future seemed to be at dismay. It was then that Piggie Chops decided to take action as she felt that ‘Silence’ is too powerful a project to be stalled. So, she took a step which no leading actress would dare to and she decided to swap roles and go for the one which was comparatively weaker so that the project moved further.

Now, PC essays a mentally challenged person alongside Ranbir Kapoor, who enacts a deaf mute guy in the hero and director Anurag Basu intends to take Priyanka Chopra to a mental asylum to help her get into the skin of her role.

Confirming the news, Priyanka said, “I will start shooting for Anurag’s Silence in January 2011 after completing Don 2. I am preparing for my role. I need to undergo training to perform the role perfectly. I am happy to get such a challenging role, which many of my age do not get.”
